Just had my visit for this year and still impressed with the staff, service and care. My dental Hygienist was exceptional, I believe last name Guerrero, he was patient and understanding with my concerns, I felt no discomfort at all. Definitely recommend, 5+ stars.

My family has been going to XPRESS Dental on Trenton Road in McAllen for years, and we have always had an excellent experience. Dr. John Tan is outstanding. He is professional, knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about his patients. His staff is also extremely professional, friendly, and welcoming every single visit. From routine cleanings to more involved dental work, the level of care and service has always been exceptional. They make the entire process smooth and comfortable, which is saying a lot considering most people would rather wrestle a crocodile than sit in a dental chair. Highly recommend XPRESS Dental to anyone looking for a trustworthy dental office in the McAllen area.

Worst service by dental Hygienist and when Dr came in and ask how everything went, I was honest. Guess he didn’t not like my honesty that he was very rude. I will not be coming back here again. 10 years of being a loyal patient and it was not appreciated. Me and my family will definitely look for a new dentist.

I have gotten several root canals done here expecting relief and proper care, but the procedure did not resolve my issue. It took me several trips to him to realize I was seeing the wrong person which led me to seek a second opinion. I was told that the root canal had not been done correctly and would need to be redone. Going through a second procedure was not only physically uncomfortable but also emotionally and financially stressful. I trusted that I was receiving proper treatment the first time, so this outcome was extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend seeing an endodontist (a specialist in root canal treatments) for this type of procedure rather than a general dentist. It can make a significant difference in the quality and outcome of care. I strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to ask detailed questions, seek a second opinion if something doesn’t feel right, and make sure they are confident in the care they’re receiving. I hope the office takes feedback like this seriously and improves their quality of care for future patients.

I went to Express Dental in McAllen with unbearable tooth pain and no appointment, but was seen the same day by 3pm on a Saturday. I had a root canal and 2 crowns. They were slamed but still had compassion and fit me in. Dr. Tan and a couple of his staff even stayed 1 hour hour past closing to complete my procedure. Dr. Tan and all of his staff are amazing, from start to finish! Thank you Dr. Tan and to the whole Express Dental team for getting my out of pain! Blessings!
